Serviced City Pads

A powerful example of the legacy of Liverpool’s year as Capital of Culture, Serviced City Pads puts a lot of its success down to the transferable skills that its three graduate recruits acquired during their degree; most importantly, that of excellent verbal and written communication.  This is most evident in the website which enjoys high rankings in Google, thanks to tactical copy writing skills used in the company blog and news updates. Add to this excellent enquiry management and customer service and you have a winning formula.

Through Graduate to Merseyside, Serviced City Pads have recruited three University of Liverpool Graduates: Grayham Heathershaw (History and Politics), David Fennell (English and Modern History) and Louise O'Toole (English Language and Literature).

Martin Holt is delighted with Graduate to Merseyside: “The service has been absolutely brilliant. Graduate to Merseyside has provided really genuine support throughout each recruitment process and it’s worked out really well for us.”

Grayham Heathershaw adds: “The Graduate to Merseyside team were really helpful, making the whole process of finding and securing this job really simple. I’ll always be grateful that I visited the University jobs website when I did!”

Holt plans to continue conquering the web with ‘search engine optimisation’ being high on the list of priorities (ensuring that a web search using relevant key words will enable the prospective customer to find the business easily).  Strategically he is also looking to develop the corporate side of the business which will ultimately shape the roles of his young employees.

“If you Google ‘serviced accommodation Liverpool’ you’ll find we’re top of the rankings” he adds. “Our next target is to do the same for London and the rest of UK.”

Not bad for a five-year-old business with the majority of its staff being recent graduates!
