Structec

Knowsley based Structec, a leading building and maintenance contractor; recruits Edge Hill University Business and Management graduate Alex Naylor as a Business Support Coordinator.

Structec (NW) Ltd, a leading building and maintenance contractor that carries out projects and works for Local Authorities, housing providers and private sector customers across Merseyside and the North West of England has expanded their “Back-office Support Team” at their Windsor House HQ, on the North Mersey Business Centre in Knowsley.

This new role will ensure clients and customers are continually informed of the latest updates and developments ensuring they receive their commitment to providing the best quality customer service. So, Alex Naylor from Kirkby joins the company as a Business Support Coordinator after a period with neighbouring QVC.

Recently graduating from Edge Hill University, Alex brings excellent customer service experience from working within QVC as well as his knowledge of accounting, economics, finance, marketing and personnel from his Degree in Business and Management.

Structec was keen to recruit a local graduate as part of their commitment to their social value duty as well as bringing highly qualified new entrants into the construction sector.  For these reasons, they used the dedicated Graduate to Merseyside Service who are based at the University of Liverpool for support in their recruitment and selection process.

Geoff is extremely happy with Alex and the service provided by Graduate to Merseyside said:

“We are delighted to have recruited Alex through Graduate to Merseyside who were extremely supportive and professional throughout the whole recruitment process. Furthermore we are pleased for Alex, a local Kirkby resident, as he has quickly settled into his role of Business Support Coordinator in a short space of time. At the same time we are proud to reinforce our affinity with employing people from the local communities and neighbourhoods in which we work.”

Alex is delighted with his new role he found through Graduate to Merseyside:

“I am really happy that I have gained a graduate position within Structec, especially as I am already putting my skills and knowledge learned from university into practice. Structec are also looking to improve my skills by sending me on courses which I am delighted about. I am extremely grateful for all the support and advice I have received from the Graduate to Merseyside service and how easy they made the recruitment process, without them I would not have found this great opportunity.”
