Liverpool based HESIS specialises in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance for various fire and security systems across the UK.
Creating bespoke packages for their customers they’ve worked with NHS Trusts, National Blue Chip companies, Mechanical & Electrical Contractors and many others. In fact they were recently responsible for all security systems, door access controls, CCTV and fire detection and alarm systems for the 710 bedroom Vine Court Student Accommodation building at The University of Liverpool.
Managing Director Barry Juggins (pictured left) was keen to recruit a Graduate Engineer with CAD Design skills and the ability to handle a number of projects to compliment his growing team and contacted Steve Wood, Project Manager for Graduate to Merseyside for assistance after reading our monthly business e-newsletter.
Steve was able to source Thomas Davies, a University of Liverpool Design graduate with almost 5 years’ professional experience in Product Design related roles creating CAD designs and technical drawings to meet client and manufacturer criteria. Whilst as a Designer for an Independent London Silversmith and Jeweller, he also received two awards recognising his outstanding work.
In his new role as Graduate Systems Designer for HESIS his skills and experience is already being put to good use working on a number of projects preparing CAD designs and quotes as well as supporting the company in other areas such as their marketing and social media.
