Liverpool based Kays Medical, a leading medical supplies and equipment provider; recruits University of Liverpool Electrical and Electronic Engineering graduate Aarani Kaneswaran.
After graduating with a BEng Honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Aarani Kaneswaran used the Graduate to Merseyside service to find her first graduate level opportunities.
In 2011 she was employed by Kays Medical to support the Operations Manager with day-to-day business operations including order fulfilment, stock control and database management and development , with a view to ensuring customers receive an excellent quality of service. She will also work on business processes to enable Kays Medical’s efficient growth.
Recent company acquisitions have helped Kays Medical grow, specifically in supplying biohazard control products and in penetrating new markets – Aarani will support the Operations Manager in integrating the acquired companies and ensuring that customers experience a seamless transition
Andy Johnson, Operations Manager for Kays Medical and Aarani’s line manager, said: “Graduate to Merseyside makes sure the people you see are the people who are right for the job. We were presented with quality rather than quantity, which for a growing SME with little time, is ideal. Aarani’s appointment is a real value-add for Kays Medical.
Aarani adds: “The Graduate to Merseyside team gets closely involved in finding the right person for the job, even where at first, there may not be an obvious match. They helped me tailor my CV and prepare for the interview and have a personal, friendly and flexible approach.”
