St. Helens based Pinnacle Environment, a leading tree survey and landscape design company; recruits Edge Hill University Business and Management Studies graduate Clare Thorpe.
Pinnacle Environment recruited Clare Thorpe (First Class Honours BSc Business and Management Studies, Edge Hill University, Professional Diploma in Marketing, Chartered Institute of Marketing) on a six month placement to help proactively market the company. The additional resource meant that director Alistair McLeod could implement the growth plans he’d been considering for some time.
Clare has begun by re-designing the company website, improving content and search engine optimisation and has implemented a ‘Google Adwords’ campaign to drive more traffic to the site; she is also delivering a suite of case studies, newsletters and a variety of email campaigns. One measure of success is that visitor traffic to the Pinnacle Environment website has tripled as a result of Clare’s input.
Alistair McLeod said of the Graduate to Merseyside service: “The service is incredibly useful and I’ve found an employee that is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, conscientious and committed. I didn’t have the resource to commit to a permanent member of staff, but with Clare generating so much interest, I’ll hopefully be in a position to do just that.”
Clare added: “Graduate to Merseyside has helped me find a role that has really benefited my career aspirations in marketing communications, branding and strategy. I’d recommend it to any recent graduate.”
