Liverpool based Quantum of Value, a leading business agility consultancy; recruits another University of Liverpool graduate Rebecca O'Hare, BA Modern European Languages.
Quantum of Value, a leading business agility consultancy, recently expanded into Liverpool with the assistance of Liverpool Vision and recruited a University of Liverpool graduate, Joe Brownless, through Graduate to Merseyside (you can read the full story here). Settling into their new surroundings in the historic Port of Liverpool building, Quantum of Value were so impressed with the service they received that they came back to recruit another graduate to grow their team and provide marketing support.
Graduate to Merseyside Project Manager, Steve Wood, was once again responsible for sourcing quality candidates for Director Allison Bacher to consider. Put through their paces at a special recruitment day, it was University of Liverpool Modern European Languages graduate Rebecca O’Hare who came out on top. Previous roles in sales and marketing, experience of domestic and international marketing strategies and fluent in French and German, she was the perfect candidate for the role.
Rebecca is responsible for promoting the company’s portfolio of consulting and training services to existing clients and new prospects. The work will include creation of case studies and leveraging social media for lead generation. She is very excited with her new opportunity at Quantum of Value:
‘I am delighted with my new role with Quantum of Value and am excited about developing my career within the company. The Graduate to Merseyside team have been extremely understanding and supportive during the recruitment process and I would highly recommend their service.’
In addition to recruiting graduates, Quantum of Value has also accessed up to £3,000 funding for training through Stepping Stones, a service provided by the Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and the University of Liverpool to provide skills training for newly recruited graduates. The funding is going to be used to provide advanced Microsoft Excel and Professional Scrum Master training to enhance both Joe and Rebecca’s career development within the company.
Allison is very happy with how the University of Liverpool is helping her business:
“We value the continued support from Graduate to Merseyside as we develop our team here in Liverpool. Not only has it enabled us to find quality, motivated young people, but also introduced us to a number of academics within the Management School, strengthening our relationship with the University.”
Quantum of Value’s experience demonstrates how the University of Liverpool can provide ongoing dedicated support that can make a positive impact to your business.
